History of the PVAcoustics software:
	PVAcoustics.exe is already an old program. It much changed and evolved/moved since the first version which was published in Basica, a “BASIC” 16 bits without ornament nor window. Then Gwbasic always in 16 bits came but with more advanced functions. At the time all the theoretical part of the design of speakers was finalized and the software enabled me to go very quickly in their realization. Then came Visual BASIC, the version 4 which was a great revolution: a software 32 bits, the open door on working of really convivial software with windows, buttons, finally an interface man machine much more pleasant than in 16 bits. You recall: Windows 95 then Windows 98 they are not so old and yet already data-processing prehistory. Several versions followed one another increasingly packed but increasingly greedy places from there on the hard drive and in Simple calculations I wanted to obtain the response curves of the loudspeaker assembled in the calculated enclosures then I thought that to have the very ready plans would facilitate work to me. But why be satisfied with only one form? Why only one type of enclosure? Today PVAcoustics, and this for two years, has been completely rewritten in Visual Basic.Net with SharpDevelop like IDE (http://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SD/). Since then, I decided to make profit the whole world, of my work; I have thus to create this site and put PVAcoustics in free remote loading without another claim to share a passion.

June 2007:
	- New drawings of the plans of enclosures
December 2007:

January 2008:
	- New module to calculate short houses of loads frontal, circular, rectangular or square.
February 2008:
	- An example of integration of house in a speaker. - A new page of kind plan “voice of theater”.
April 2008:
	- Two options of possible calculations for the various speakers.
October 2008:
	- Three new selection criteria of the loudspeaker: a coefficient of total quality an optimum volume for each loudspeaker a diameter of vent for an acoustic impedance equalizes to 1 - Correction of a bug concerning the thickness of material.
November 2008:
	- Change of certain colors in the layout of the response curves. - Modification of calculations for Jensen in option two.
February 2009:
	- Reduction of a bug concerning the comma with certain configurations of keyboard. - Page of symmetrical calculations of loads dedicated to the low frequencies, under the 100 Hz. - Calculation of optimum curves in the menu of synthetic calculations of the enclosures with aerial matching transformer.
